Gena's Dance Academy, the Island's premier dance school, is bringing Alphabet Pop to the Isle of Man on 18 and 19 May. The show combines a variety of fun dance styles from ballet to street, and will be a treat for the whole family to enjoy.
Gena Walker, leader of Gena's Dance Academy, said: 'We are so excited to bring Alphabet Pop to life and we can't wait to dance. At the Academy we teach ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, street and jazz, as well as 'Cheer Dance and 'Acro Dance' in partnership with Acro Dance Studios, and Alphabet Pop perfectly brings all these styles into one great production – it's going to be a real showstopper!
'We are all incredibly grateful to SMP Partners for its support and help with getting this fun-filled production to the Gaiety. On behalf of the GDA family, including our teachers, pupils and parents, I would like to say a great big thank you!'
Mark Denton, Managing Director of SMP Partners, said: 'Gena's Dance Academy is a fantastic asset to the Island's dance scene and we are delighted to be supporting it. It is important to us to play an active role in the Island's community, and we thoroughly enjoy getting involved with the arts in particular – we are very much looking forward to the shows.'
