Douglas Choral Union (DCU) is bringing the musical comedy to the Island from 16th to 24th February.
Highly-respected director Tony Finnegan is welcomed back by DCU having previously directed a number of its productions, including the very successful Jesus Christ Superstar and The Producers.
Based on the 1980 hit movie, 9 to 5 centres on three female co-workers who fabricate a plan to get even with their sexist boss. Featuring music and lyrics by singer and song-writing legend Dolly Parton, the show promises to be a high-energy, thought-provoking and fun singalong.
Mark Denton, Managing Director at SMP Partners, said: 'The Isle of Man has an incredibly talented musical theatre and arts community and we love to get involved and support this in any way we can. It is an affiliation which welcomes everyone, young and old, helping those involved to build confidence, develop a range of skills and make lasting friendships.
'We are long-running supporters of Douglas Choral Union, and its productions are always of such a high quality. It has chosen another fantastic show which I am sure will be well received by the audience – one not to be missed!'
The leading corporate service provider will hold a bucket collection at the end of the performance on Monday 19 February to raise money for SMP Partners' Charity of The Year, Isle of Man Live at Home Schemes.
It has supported many major Gaiety shows including Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Producers, Oliver!, Sunset Boulevard, CATS, The Wizard of Oz, Miss Saigon and Evita.
Tickets for 9 to 5 The Musical are priced from £23, and available to buy online from www.villagaiety.com or by calling the Villa Gaiety Ticket Hotline on 01624 600555.
